Under The Tree: Grown Ups Edition

Ok friends, these gift ideas that we are sharing today are for you and your loved ones. Each company and product is either delicious or restful or a bit of both. We wanted to show you some of our favourite treats this year and you will notice it is almost all food! Ha! You can tell what is bringing us a bit more joy these days.

If you haven’t tried these cookies you need to! They are the perfect treat to enjoy, share or gift to a friend. YVR cookie is a local, Vancouver based company who makes gourmet cookies. They have their holiday flavours out right now including White Chocolate Peppermint, Salted Caramel Mocha and Lemon Cranberry. They also ship coast to coast across Canada so if you have a loved one far away this would make a beautiful surprise. Each cookie is individually wrapped as well so perfect for sharing. We agree that these are best served heated up in the microwaves for 30 seconds! Their original Cookies and Cream flavour is our favourite.

If you’re looking for a stocking stuffer or gift for someone who loves to indulge but also eat healthy, Botanical Health offers so many incredible options. Their Reishi Hot Chocolate and Lions Mane Iced Tea are delicious options for making a special drink. The Reishi Hot Chocolate mix is made from cocoa, dates, Reishi, chocolate and coconut! Botanical Health’s Perfect Vanilla protein is amazing to add to smoothies or breakfast bowls as there is zero added sugar! You can find so many different options on their website and their products offer so many health benefits related to reduce anxiety, and help with energy levels, inflammation and so many other things.

Now this company we will have to fight over with our kiddos because they are in love with their cereal. Nature’s Path offers so many fun cereals such as Panda Puffs, Chocolate Chimps, Gorilla Munch etc. that are delicious, crunchy and have so much less sugar than the leading brands. As moms, we love their granola, especially their Love Crunch line. Nature’s Path offers individual oatmeal packets made with wholesome ingredients that are delicious and convenient for those quick mornings. With so many different winter flavours such as Brown Sugar Maple and Spiced Apple, these would be perfect to slip into a stocking or wrap under the tree.

Aren’t these the cutest little measuring cups! Danica Imports also creates these gorgeous cupcake cloud baking set that would be perfect for any party. You can also separate them and use them to serve little candies and treats as well. We love that they are dishwasher and microwave safe too!

Is there anyone on your list that doesn’t love chocolate? I find that Purdy’s has something for everyone on my list. Growing up I always remember my Grandma receiving the biggest purple box of Purdy’s chocolates every year from her brother, my Great Uncle Mo. As a kid, I couldn’t even believe how big it was! As a grown up, I get it - because Purdy’s is so delicious! This year, they have a Santa Gift box filled with fun treats such as a Snowman Lolly, Mint Meltie Bar, Jolly St Nick, Hedgehogs etc. and it comes in an adorable gift box that is already wrapped and ready to go. However if you want to make your gift basket the Ruby Pralines, Candy Cane Truffles and Himalayan Pink Salt Caramels would be delicious and you can never go wrong with Sweet Georgia Browns (my personal favourite).

Bathorium is a new company to us and we love that they are Canadian! They make so many different clean and green bath products both for adults and children. The Mama’s Perch Bath bomb is beautifully packaged and is made with rose water. It smells divine and would be the perfect way to relax. The Little Charlie Bubble bath is for children and has hints of lavender and chamomile in it, free from toxins to keep children’s skin soft and smooth. They have so many incredible products and list the ingredients right on their website so you know there are no added fillers, plus again, they are Canadian which is amazing!

The PUR Company - I can’t remember the last time I chewed gum that wasn’t made by The Pur Company. This has been our absolute favourite gum ever since my sister was pregnant over 7 years ago. There is no aspartame in this gum and there are so many flavours that we love (even chocolate!). We love gifting the wintergreen and spearmint flavours during the holidays because of their beautiful green colours, but any flavour would be amazing!

Hickory Farms is a gourmet meat and cheese company that makes the most beautiful gift boxes. Their signature red boxes this year look so Christmasy and they can be filled with so many different combinations to make the perfect gift. Each gift box can contain a variety of meats, cheeses, crackers, cookies, jams and their famous Mini Melt Away Mints. They have many different gift combinations ready to go and you can order them online or even find them at your local mall or some grocery stores.
