Spring with a splash!

Family pool time was bumping this past month as we vacationed in the one and only: California. The weather was beautiful and sunny almost every day and we soaked up every bit of Vitamin D before we had to head home. Our kiddos loved having a pool to jump in every day and were always turning into seahorses, sharks, turtles, mermaids and fishes depending on their imagination each day. 

Before we went on vacation, we popped into our local Joe Fresh to find some spring and vacation essentials. We absolutely love these new swimsuits for our kids. The pale light blue stripe ruffled one piece is adorable and if it came in women's size it would be the perfect twinning mommy and me suit! The cross straps at the back adds to the gorgeous details and Kinsley loves wearing her new suit. As moms of boys and girls, we love the idea of co-ordinating similar colour palettes with our kids and the ocean blues fit in perfectly for spring and summer. These affordable boys swimwear (under $20) had printed boats and palm trees which added a summery, vacation vibe along with the neutral navy colour making it easy to pair with any top.

When I was looking for swimsuits for the kids, I found this white top with a matching blue stripe ruffle in the back. I immediately grabbed it and thought it would be adorable to twin with Kinsley. I love patterns that are similar, but not identical to coordinate with my little one.

Lauren lived in this gorgeous cover-up during our vacation. It was the perfect, lightweight top to throw over her swimsuit while she was busy serving us all food and drinks!! (he he he). 

I always find something I love when I wander the aisles of Joe Fresh and they have new items arriving all the time! Sun is out today which has me thinking sweet summer thoughts and before you know it, I'll be pulling out the swimsuits daily!
