Front Porch Refresh for Fall with Devry

Happy Thanksgiving Monday! We hope you have been able to spend so much time reflecting on everything that we are grateful for and are able to tell the ones close to you that you love them.

We wanted to share one of ways that we love to warm up our home in the fall and that is by adding some beautiful fall colours and textures to our front porch. The idea of supporting locally grown flowers and plants is always something we try to encourage. Devry is a local greenhouse that we have supported in the past and they have beautiful fall options for your home and front porch.

These gorgeous fall planters that you can add to your front porch are mixed with a variety of fall coloured mums from deep burgundy to peachy orange and white. The tall whispy grasses in the middle add a beautiful balance of height and texture - we love that!

If you prefer to create your own fall planters from scratch, Devry grows a variety of small 4” potted plants such as mums, ornamental cabbage, dusty miller, pansies which you can combine to make something gorgeous! I always feel so creative when I get to design my planters with a variety of different plants and Devry would be a great place to go to get everything you need for that.

If you are creating your own planters, try mixing in some tall grasses to add height or a punch of colour with some Celosia. The plum coloured Celosias add richness to any fall basket or planter and we just are in love with this colour for fall!
