Brie's Bachelorette

This magical night has come and gone and we are excited to share some of the details from Brie's bachelorette! We had the loveliest group of ladies come to party with Brie and bless her with some date night gifts before she becomes Mrs. King :)

Our littlest sister is a lady of many talents and loves, so we wanted to bless her with an evening filled with all of her favourites: People, food, crafting, flowers, painting, candy, s'mores, and fun....lots of laughter and fun!

We started off the night with each lady making their own floral arrangement, courtesy of Flowers from a Country Garden. We filled mason jars from Bernardin with beautiful colours and greenery to double as part of our table decor. The ladies "shopped" for their blooms from our flower market which produced the most beautiful, unique arrangements! Flowers from a Country Garden is a local farm and florist shop in Langley (around 240th just off of Fraser Hwy) and Judy grows the most beautiful flowers and also arranges them for you! She is so talented and her shop is so delightful.

Seriously....look at those colours! Simply gorgeous.

The colours are just stunning!!! There is nothing better than fresh, home grown flowers.

The floral arrangements added such a beautiful centrepiece to our long table. The pops of colour and greenery fit in perfectly with our botanical theme. The rest of the table & party decor came from Talking Tables (one of our favourite party decor shops). We went with a botanical theme with mixes of bright colours mixed in with greenery. We love the look of this long table, full of colour on such a warm summer night!

We wanted to add a bit of lighting as we went into the evening and these candles from Skeem Design were the perfect touch. The candles come in the gorgeous holders and they also have the cutest bottles for displaying matches! When we lit the Lemon and Oak, the aroma was so inviting!  We are suckers for anything citrusy!

There is something about a freshly lit candle that ties the whole party together.

Our dinner table was set and now it was time to eat! Nando's provided all of our food for the evening; mixes of all their different flavours of chicken including hot, herb and garlic, salads and sides that were the perfect fit for our girls night out. If you have never eaten at Nando's, you have to try it! The best thing is they have different levels of spice for those who love it and those who don't so there really is something for everyone. Plus, their Peri-Peri sauce can't be beat! It makes a great stocking stuffer at Christmas time :)

These fun glasses from Talking Tables were the perfect accessory for our photo booth. The bride-to-be is in the middle and we are getting so excited to celebrate with her on her big day in less than two weeks!

For this evening we really wanted to include as many of Brie's "loves" as we could and one of those is definitely candy. She has never been too big on dessert but candy is something that she will hardly ever say no to. We partnered with Albanese Candy to create a beautiful candy bar!  So colourful and the most unique flavours of candy - our favourite candy company for sure! I think I had a few of everything (they have the best gummy bears with so many fun colours and flavours!). We used mason jars from Bernardin to create a uniform look and then filled them with the colourful candies.

We owe a big thank you to our friend Malia for bringing the most delicious cupcakes. She is one talented baker! Her coconut flavoured cupcakes, complete with the most adorable party candles from Skeem Design were incredible!

Brie is wildly talented and we wanted her to share her love for creativity and painting with her closest friends. Our friends at Opus Art Supplies provided beautiful shades of watercolours, paint brushes, paint trays and high quality watercolour paper for our guests to enjoy. Honestly, the flower arranging and the painting were such highlights of the night. Each guest's final picture was so different and yet so inspiring.

Opus' Watercolours allow you to play and experiment with colours and mixes to create something so beautiful!

We all had big heart eyes for this stunning foliage wreath! By the end of the night, Sarah was giving tutorials on how to create this beautiful piece :) It's so fun to create with community because you can be inspired by others around you as well. Whether our guests were beginner painters, or advanced, Opus's Art supplies were easy to use and are made with great quality so that anyone could create something beautiful!

It really was an incredible night and we would do it all over again for that girl on the end! She is the best little sister we could ask for and we are so honoured to stand beside her.

A big thank you to Flowers from a Country Garden, Albanese Candy, Talking Tables, Opus Art Supplies, BernadinNando's and Skeem Design for helping us create a magical night Brie will never forget!
