If you haven't seen a photo of the Abbotsford Tulip Festival then hop onto Instagram and one of the next 5 pics you find will have a sea of colour. 10,000 people came to see the flowers in one day alone and you notice quite quickly the amount of work it takes to grow that many tulips. It was definitely a popular activity these past few weeks so our WAY cooler younger sister and friend Kendra eagerly wanted to join in on our cloudy Monday adventure.
If we can get one child looking at the camera we call that a win
Outfits were not intentionally coordinated, Roots just has great sweatshirts
Who wore it better?
Muddy walkways at the tulip festival are not good for Birkenstocks
Maybe because it took us over an hour to get there
Maybe because we brought one snuggli for two babies
Maybe because some of us wore sandals
Maybe because the 2 year old slipped in mud 2 minutes after arriving
Maybe because they had chopped down half the field of tulips
For any one of these reasons, the tulip festival was a bit of a disappointment.
But when you are with great company, any activity goes from a 6.5 to a solid 9 out of 10.
