Say it with Krusteaz

How is it the end of October?! Christmas is just around the corner and we will soon be swapping our pumpkins for Christmas trees and fall leaves for *hopefully* snow (come on Vancouver weather). Before that new season is upon us, we wanted to spend some time in the kitchen, baking a few treats for our neighbours. 

We partnered with Krusteaz to spread joy in our neighbourhood with food because everyone loves a freshly baked treat! Baking is a universal language and whether you know your neighbours well or have someone on your street who just moved in, warm muffins or cookies are perfect to spread some unexpected love.

Krusteaz makes my baking life simple and delicious as they carry a wide variety of ready to use mixes. We were able to test out three different types of baking mixes to spread some love in our neighbourhood; Cranberry-Orange muffins, Pumpkin Spice cookies, and also Pumpkin Spice muffins. When the two of us are together and all three of our kids are under one roof, a simple recipe with few ingredients is essential. We love that with Krusteaz's mixes, we only have to add a few simple things, bake for a short time, but still have quality baked goods that don't compromise on taste.

We grabbed an assortment of cookies and muffins and wrapped them up in a small wooden crate to give to our neighbours.
