Family Adventure Day: Fort Langley

Last month was busy but we also had time off from work so we took full advantage and had a family day in Fort Langley. We met up with my sister's family and found ourselves in some of the most beautiful spots along the river so we had to take some pics!

We walked the shops, got some morning pastries from blacksmith bakery, and walked and shopped a bit more. I carried Cairo in the Baby Bjorn most of the time and even though he is 24 pounds, I can carry him without my back hurting because of the waist belt. After years of playing volleyball, my back still gives me some trouble so having this Baby Carrier One Air to hold my son in is perfect. We have always used Baby Bjorn carriers but the one I used to have cost me $5 at a garage sale and just didn't provide the back support I needed. I love this little back saver!

She's got my back. When I need something as simple as a latte or a shoulder to cry on during such a tough season that David and I have gone through.

Cairo and Jake are both sporting their beanies from Beau Hudson to keep warm in this frigid air we have been having lately. We love matching these two cousins!

We live by White Rock beach so we don't come to Fort Langley often but when we do we always leave feeling like we could absolutely live here. Does everyone else get that same feeling?
